Trench Drain

Modern French Trench drain systems can be made with perforated pipe surrounded by sand or gravel and geotextile or landscaping textile.

The waterproofer used a Trench Drain to solve my problem.

To establish in detail what has occurred, typically after the failure of a process and/or system.
To lift the drain cover up and explore what has been flushed down and try and rescue it.

We had a real problem with this customer when we delivered their goods, and they are really annoyed. The best thing to do is have a "drains up" on what went wrong with the delivery and then tell the customer what we are going to do to fix it.

Drain

When one is smoking a drain is something that kills the mood. A drain would be considered opposite to a boost (not to be confused with a shnarf boost, a boost of a higher intensity).

A drain kills the situation.

stoner #1: hey man let's go smoke more alcohol?
stoner #2: nahh man, we ran out!
