Threadvolution

When a thread on a message board starts as one thing and evolves into something else.

This thread started as a discussion of health care and now it's just pictures of hot nurses. I approve of this threadvolution.

threadsecutioner

Very similar to the Thread Killer, the Threadsecutioner is an individual who kills an online discussion. Whether on a message board or a comment on a Facebook wall post, the threadsecutioner's contribution almost always ends the discussion.

The threadsecutioner's intentions are pure, but his actions are disastrous.

Commenter 1: Climate change is absolutely real! The vast majority of scientists agree on that!

Commenter 2: The science is flawed, and there's a significant number of scientists who think it's all bogus!

Threadsecutioner: Hey guys, here are 16 links to stories about this very topic!

Threadmark

Noun: The place you have reached in reading an online thread.

Verb: To leave some kind of sign, e.g. highlighted text, to show where you have reached when reading an online thread.

If you lose your place in an online thread you would say 'I lost my threadmark'.

Treadmill High

n. The effect that occurs shortly after finishing a treadmill workout, in which, after running in place for a long period of time, walking on static ground gives the sensation that you're body is moving twice as fast as you're walking. Often causes sufferer to walk abnormally slow or, in hilarious cases, fall down. Usually experienced by those who do not use a treadmill often.

After using the treadmill for an hour, Jack had a treadmill high and, in an attempt to slow down, stumbled on his way to the locker room.
