Delco Day

Founded by the podcast Delco Live, it is a day where we celebrate all the great things that make Delco, Delco. Recognized as an official state holiday since 2018 after being unanimously voted on by PA congress. The official day is June 10th. It is celebrated usually the Saturday after or before the tenth with an all day event that raises money for charity.

Delco Passion

Exhibitions of stoicism by male residents of Delaware County (PA). Examples of Delco Passion include berating CYO refs, being the loudest guy in the room at a parish fundraising activity, busting balls along subtle class lines (for example, searching for and destroying young men in your community whose parents send them to Catholic Academies) and pregaming CYO football games.

Did you see Mr. Riggins in his Utley World Baseball Classic jersey at the St. Agnes St. Bernies game last weekend? Guy had a keg out at 815, haven't seen such Delco Passion since last year before the Turkey Bowl.
