Sqweej

The act of performing minor jobs, or favours in return for money, or other meaningful items. This word could also be used to describe someone who asks for something with no or little intention of ever returning it. This word derives from the word squeegee, which is what homeless and drug addicts in the downtown Toronto area would use to clean peoples windows in return for money. It then became popular to call a beggar or friend in need a "Squeej" because you know they will be asking for money in the near future.

Man this kid is always such a Sqweej when we hang out with him. He never has bus fare and we always end up buying him food and paying for everything. And since he never has anything will never get it back.
