Hallelujah Sequence

Generally, a scene in a movie where there's a super sad song playing because the main character is alone and is about to lose all the good things in their life.

Term originally coined by Schaffrillas Productions in his video: "Why Shrek the Third is a Cinematic Disaster".

Jacob: "Hey, didja see that movie I sent you the other day?"
Paul: "Yeah, there was a really sad Hallelujah Sequence in that one. It made me cry for a bit."

Sequence Dress

Ghetto slang for a dress made of sequined fabric. I first heard this used on Ru Paul's Drag Race when trashy queen Roxy Andrews said she was planning on wearing a "sequence dress" clearly meaning a dress with sequins. Right. At first I assumed Roxy was just a bit thick in the head, but not long after, I heard a friend of mine with somewhat similar background use the exact same expression/mispronunciation.

Under-educated Drag Queen: "Gurl, I"m gonna look fierce tonight in that black sequence dress!

English speaker: "Do you mean a dress with sequins?"
Under-educated Drag Queen: "Bitch, what you talk'in? One sequence, two sequence. You know, a sequence dress. Hello?!"
English speaker: "Yeah, the word is SEQUIN. One sequin, two sequins, a sequined gown."
Under-educated Drag Queen: "Why you throw'in shade bitch? I'll cut you!"
English speaker: "What?"
Under-educated Drag Queen: "We're through, lady. I don't need you getting in the way of my fabulous ass. This bitch is serving fish, hunty."

Controversial movies that caused a civil war in the Star Wars fandom. One side claims the other is sexist for not liking the main character Rey for being an uninteresting character. This is untrue because there are many interesting female Star Wars characters, including but not limited to Bo Katan, Mira Jade, Leia Organa, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Assaj Ventris, Barris Offee, Mon Mothma, Jyn Urso, Padme Amidalla, etc. However, all are entitled to their own opinion. I personally think Disney should just pull a Star Trek and have multiple different cannons. Ok sorry for angering you sequels fan have a nice day.

Sequestrium

Specifically, a tent area inside of the main playing area at the 2007 World Series of Poker. The "tent" was used to hold final tables which were being simulcast on the internet and therefore had to be held in secret to prevent player collusion.
Sequestrium was originally thought to be a portmanteau of atrium and sequester but after outrage at the entire idea of preventing family, friends and fans from viewing final table action, many felt the entire idea was insane, so the combination of sequester and sanitarium was suggested.

Generally, any hiding or sequestering of events that should or could be open to the public.

The Pentagon is the largest sequestrium in the world.

The sequestrium at the 2007 World Series of Poker was a public relations nightmare.
