To be PSOED

The act of foolishly trusting social democrat promises, movements and political parties while waiting for change to happen through meaningless and minor reforms; while simultaneously opposing the active disruption of the capitalist mode of production and its direct consequences.

The term “PSOE” originates from the Spanish political party with the same initials, which famously betrayed its Marxist origins in the year ‘79 to embrace social democracy.
“My wife doesn’t want me to protest for peace or go on strikes, she thinks voting for the next Biden will fix everything. She’s been PSOED, what a fool. To be PSOED is to be a shame.”
