procrastination station

A place where you go with intentions to briefly stop by, yet somehow lasts for eternity. It usually ends in negative consequences. It's the equivalent of just "stopping by grandma's house," you know you should get going, but you just can't. You get sucked in against your will.

My dinner magically turned into a two hour "procrastination station."

To distract oneself with a creative or crafty project while subconsciously processing an intensely nerdy challenge. Typically occurs late in the day (procrafternoon) or at night (procrafternevening).

I hit a wall working on that crazy-complex Excel model, so I decided to procraftinate by converting my Ikea Billy Bookcase into a nightstand.

procrastination

Putting something that eventually must be done to the very last minute. Sometimes this method can be successful, and the person will get to spend a lot of time relaxing, and still get work done. Other times, however, it can lead to poor grades, incomplete work, etc. If one has a lot of work, it is understandable that the person will leave some for the last minute, although this person may be subject to adjectives such as lazy.

Me: Wow, I've got an 8 page history paper, a French project, a science lab, and a lot of other nightly homework... I'll do some now, but to avoid exhaustion, I'll have to use procrastination with the rest.

Ignorant person: You is lazy!

Me: And just how much work have you done this weekend?

Ignorant person: Uh...

Me: Hypocrite.

Procrastinating

Definition, you right now. Chances are you searched this in irony so that way you wouldn't have to do that essay due in tomorrow, or to stop you from cleaning your room.
There is also productive procrastination, which is when you do your errands to stop you from doing what you're ACTUALLY meant to be doing.

You: Lets see, what can I do instead of working for the next five minutes? I know, I'll search procrastinating on Urban Dictionary.
Me: Should I do my revision for my AS exams? ... Nah best define Procrastinating on Urban Dictionary.
