Noun. A person viewed as soft and weak, fleshy and/or expendable. Someone who has become fat and lazy on the comforts of civilization. Someone unused to hardship and adventure.

Intentionally misunderstanding someone/ something annoying/ stupid. The phrase originates from a quote John Lennon said in the movie "A Hard Day's Night". A reporter asks him "How did you find America?", to which Lennon answers "Turned left at Greenland."
