Goomer Pyle

Goomer Pyle was a character from the TV series known as "The Andy Griffin Show". In the show Goomer Pyle was a marine who wasn't the smartest person ever. Usually if someone is called Goomer Pyle they are being called: stupid. Basically you've just been insulted.

In the movie "Full Metal Jacket" one of the characters was called Private Goomer Pyle because he was a bit mentally challenged.

A word discribing the act of playing a video games used only by the most elite groups of gamers. The phrase isn't often used by novice gamers but the true masters of goom use it daily if not every minute. Even when the situation doesn't ask for a word of its kind one of the masters has to shout "Goom!" to balance their blood pressure. The word was first discovered by the first master "Dorian".
