Dimadis

A dimadis is a person who can have serious mental issues due to something she has read, seen or heard. She can also have Serious anger issues (Most of the time). These issues can sometimes get in the way of friendships but she is good at picking supportive friends to help her through her traumatic times. She is also super kind, smart and a good friend. Dimadis will automatically be your best friend. It is usually a last name that is greek. In all, Dimdis is a good friend but is usually is in moments of trauma.

dime–store philosophy

Cheap, one-size-fits-all explanations about life. They consist of clichés, empty truisms and tautologies, and (often contradictory) platitudes.

Dime–stores were common in the early part of the 20th c. Every main street had such a store where you could buy tawdry, second-rate stuff for cheap prices. (Now they're Dollar stores, though these are not as common or a central fixture in every town.)

I run from the coffeehouse whenever that windbag shows up with his dime–store philosophy.

I'll take Crumb's cartoons over the banal musings of a dime-store philosopher any day.

Internet-language for died

Often used in the comments on sites like 9gag, when the post is about someone who did something dangerous and could have severely hurt themselves. Frequently, when someone uses "died", he will instantly be corrected to dieded"

May also be extended to "diededed" or even longer and more exaggerated forms.

(someone does a backflip and fails, a video of that gets poster as a gif on 9gag)
