self-deprecating humor

Humor where you put yourself down.
Sometimes funny, but sometimes overused fishing for compliments or a signal of low self-esteem.
ex. 1
Yeah, I just walked into the wall outside *smiles, while friend laughs* man I'm clumsy.
ex. 2
Dang, your're all such good students, studying for the test, I'm prolly gonna fail. *says the straight A student*

BD/Beat Deprivation

The male equivalent to pms. When a man waits too long to beat his meat he becomes beat deprived. This generally makes the man irritable and much more susceptible to getting a boner.
Spencer had BD because he went on a family vacation and couldn't find the time to whack his shit.

Spencer's Mom: why is spencer so mad?
Connor: he hasn't beat his shit in awhile.
Spencer's Mom: what?
Connor: he has a bad case of BD/Beat Deprivation.

Sensory deprivation

Sensory deprivation is the deliberate reduction or removal of stimuli from one or more of the senses. Simple devices such as blindfolds and earmuffs can cut off sight and hearing, while more complex devices can also cut off the sense of smell, touch, taste, thermoception (heat-sense), and 'gravity'. Sensory deprivation has been used in various alternative medicines and in psychological experiments (e.g., see Isolation tank), and for torture or punishment.

Though short periods of sensory deprivation can be relaxing, extended deprivation can result in extreme anxiety, hallucinations, bizarre thoughts, depression, and antisocial behavior.
