A female chap; a woman. The opposite being the male chap.

An informal British expression to refer to a woman, or women with the plural ‘chapettes’.

Generally used in the phrase ‘chaps and chapettes’.

Alright chaps and chapettes, make your way over to the dancefloor

She liked to be around the chaps; could say she was quite the chapette of sorts

chipeteo

The act of using a tortilla chip or small piece of tortilla to scoop up the dropped toppings/fillings of tacos, burritos, etc.

Similar to scarpetta in Italian dining.

After finishing my tacos, I wasn't about to leave that delicious salsa behind, so I did a quick chipeteo with a tortilla chip to get every last drop.
