An unexpected about-face of feelings resulting in being repulsed by someone you had initially been attracted to.

You start seeing someone you had been crushing on, only to then start feeling creeped out by him/her when he/she actually starts liking you way more than you like them; classic attraction-repulsion syndrome.

pectual attraction

(noun)(1)A non-sexual attraction to male pecs. A pectual attraction is not a fetish, simply a strong wish to feel or examine male pec muscles. One with a pectual attraction would simply evaluate pecs like one would evaluate hairstyles or clothing styles. Also known as a pectual obsession. (2) When a girl goes out with a guy purely because he has nice pecs.

When a person may be more attracted to someone’s brain and intellect than their physical looks. The person may be average in appearance but their intelligence boosts their allure. On rare occasions it can lead to a mutual animal magnetism that may result in sex or brain sex.

He couldn’t ever say he found her physically attractive, but the intellectual attraction was strong enough to raise his curiosity about her in bed.

The want to be emotionally connected with another person. When you want to share things that you are feeling in order to make a connection with them you feel an emotional attraction.
You can have this with friends, family or romantic partners.

Person 1: I talked to Wendy about what I was feeling the other day and I feel like I really connected with them! I feel attracted to them now somehow
Person 2: Oh you might be feeling emotional attraction towards them.
