An opportunity to look up a fact on Wikipedia. Wikitunities often occur in the context of settling a dispute, or enhancing a conversation with friends. See also googletunity.

Wikitacular

An adjective that describes something is a positive manner. It is a contageous descriptor that can be used interchangably with just about any adjective. It is wikitacular fun!

That movie was wikitacular.
My man is a wikitacular husband.
The apples used in that pie are wikitacular.
Did you see the wikitacualr shoes she wearing?

WikiTag

a game played on wikipedia. a friend picks a start article and an end article. the rules are as follows:
you cannot search anything once at the start article.
you can only click on links in the article.
you cannot go back.
you cannot open a new tab.
when you reach the destination article, tag someone else and give them a destination

Been playing WikiTag for an hour! got from "regular show" all the way to "brad pitt". your turn!

the activity of editing or otherwise working on Wikipedia.

I'm pretty tempted to edit the article, though I usually just restrict my wikitivity to vandal-squishing.

wikitrance

a trance-like state in which one goes from a page brought up on wikipedia or sites that are similar and goes from one hyperlink to another and another...until realizing that he/she has wasted a substantial amount of time and has gone completely off task.

hey bro, i was doing research for my history project on the Cuban Missile Crisis on wikipedia and went into a total wikitrance: I look up at my computer clock, it's been an hour since I started, and I'm reading about Paris Hilton's sex tape!

Wikitripping

Verb. Wikitripping is when a person looks something up on Wikipedia and while reading the article, they click on one of the links within it, and proceed to read that article, upon which they click on another link and again read that article. The process may repeat itself many times, often until the person loses track of time and/or has no recollection of what information they originally sought.

I was Wikitripping till 3am!
