Mars Tucky

The affectionate name for the Mars Hill neighborhood in Indianapolis. The main drag is Kentucky Ave. and there is a large transplant population from Harlan County, KY. In Indiana, adding the suffix -tucky is a common practice to deride an area, by comparing it to Kentucky, but, in the case of Mars Tucky, it is received as more of an homage.
