sobrietist

When you’re not an alcoholic, but you’re a sobrietist. Someone who does not drink alcohol, ever.
I don’t drink alcohol, ever, I’m a sobrietist

Sobriety

The absence of sobriety is not addiction.
Hym "Hey, it helps me stay awake after my shift so I don't fall asleep as soon as I get home, wake up 8 hours before my shift, and get tired half way through my shift. People like to create a flase dichotomy between sobriety and being addiction. As though ANY use of a drug is evidentiary of an inability to remain sober. I have always been an advocate of deliberate brain chemistry augmentation. Thc to stay awake (For me specifically. The response to Thc varies so it does different things for different people.) Adderall to regulate mood and prevention lapses/micro-lapses in attention throughout the day. Ginseng to keep a boner. Caffeine to clog up them adenosine receptors. Drugs are good!"

sobrietous

A gesture or act of doing something in a sobering manner. An attitude bordering on condescending. A way to look down one's nose at others.
To calm the impending violence about to be initiated by the vociferous drunk, Henry grabbed his arms in sobrietous restraint.

Not wanting to engage with the homeless person, the chauffeur dismissed him with sobrietous contempt.

Disagreeing with the argument, Charles' sobrietous behaviour left little room for dissent.

Toxic Sobriety

Blaming a substance for a addiction
This has been on going where people avoid the real reason they were addicts

They are as bad or worse than a cult

They take no personal responsibility for their addiction and blame what ever substance as the root cause
It's Kratoms fault that Tommy died even though he had other substances in his system

Tommy's mother blames Kratom for his death and has gone on a crusade to ban Kratom her toxic Sobriety blinds her from the real reasons he died
