Sustainability is a lens through which to view all issues. The sustainability movement encompasses environmental justice and social justice, because one cannot be obtained without the other. It means living life to the fullest without compromising future generations' ability to do so. It respects the interconectedness of all life and acknowledges the responsibility that each person has to consider the effects that his actions have on other life forms, both living and to be born.

The sustainability revolution is begining! Watch out you styrofoam using, carbon cycle ignoring, TV worshiping members of American consumer culture.

(Acronym: SAF) A term used to describe an aviation jet turbine fuel that meets the criteria of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group (SAFUG) and/or the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels. It is typically created from second generation biofuel feedstocks, such as algae.

Sustainitarian

Person who will not eat meat unless it is sustainably derived. This means the person will only eat free-range meat, grass-fed (beef), with no additives.

For his new year's resolution, Alex decided to go sustainitarian. He always asks the waiter if the meat is free-range, oftentimes embarrasing the restaurant. To this day he has had to settle with vegetarian options.
