Röpcking

Röpcking – the over reaction of an individual, characterized by making kneejerk reactions at an early stage of a series of events, using limited information to make sweeping conclusions on the eventual outcome of the overall series. Röpcking is found to be highly contentious because in most cases Röpcking is exercised from an uninformed position, taking in to account severely limited evidence to draw sweeping conclusions. This is usually underpinned by emotional confirmation bias of the individual, based on an initial reaction to a limited pool of evidence which does not provide sufficient context to allow for a full picture to be understood.
