The Amazon Prime, often shortened to just "the Prime", is the supreme leader of the Capitalist Republic of Amazon. The name "Amazon Prime" originated as a subscription service that rewarded people who bought it with perks such as a streaming service and free shipping, but once Amazon seized control of the United States during the First Brand War (2037-2040), the subscription service became mandatory for all citizens, so the name "Amazon Prime" was repurposed for the leader of Amazon. The current Prime is Jeff Bezos IV.
Bezos III was a better Amazon Prime than Bezos IV imo. Bezos III introduced same hour delivery and legalized interspecial marriage, all Bezos IV did was drag us into war with Alibaba and Tencent.
GLORY TO THE REPUBLIC, HEIL TO THE PRIME, AMAZON UNTIL THE END OF TIME!

In Star Trek it is the General Order 1 of the Starfleet and an oath every Starfleet Personnel has to take and uphold, even if it means death to them or their crew.
As the right of each sentient species to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no Starfleet personnel, Federation citizen and/or representative may interfere with the normal and healthy development of alien life and culture. Such interference includes introducing superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such advantages wisely. Starfleet personnel may not violate this Prime Directive, even to save their lives and/or their ship/installation, unless they are acting to right an earlier violation or an accidental contamination of said culture. This directive takes precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral obligation.
The Prime Directive is overridden by:
* Omega Directive (Top Secret)
* General Order 24
Furthermore, Federation Citizens are not bound to the Prime Directive.

The Prime Directive is not just a set of rules; it is a philosophy... and a very correct one. History has proven again and again that whenever mankind interferes with a less developed civilization, no matter how well intentioned that interference may be, the results are invariably disastrous. --Jean-Luc Picard, 2364
Someday my people are going to come up with some sort of a doctrine, something that tells us what we can and can't do out here; should and shouldn't do. But until somebody tells me that they've drafted that... directive... I'm going to have to remind myself every day that we didn't come out here to play God. --Captain Jonathan Archer, 2151

Get the Church Prime mug.1. (n) Leader of the Autobots, the protagonist of the Transformers universe. Originally transformed into a red cab-over semi-truck, his form has evolved through the various iterations of the Transformers universe (see Optimus Primal).
He is known for his strong leadership and courage and would easily sacrifice himself for the safety of others. His selfless personality is one of many traits that made him a great leader. Optimus Prime could be easily described as a "reluctant warrior", in that he only engages in war when absolutely necessary. It is possible this attitude prolonged the Autobot/Decepticon war.
He and Megatron (or his numerous iterations) have always shared a mutual respect for each other, and have opposed each other in nearly every depiction of the Transformers universe.
In the 1986 Transformers animated film, Optimus Prime was killed after a fierce battle with Megatron, but his character returned several times during the series.
Optimus Prime was the most liked character among young viewers of the original series, although his toy was not the highest selling (original release, excludes all others).
