(1) Holiday celebrated every April 24th, involving the drinking of at least 24 beers. Any scheduled activity (e.g. work, classes, baptisms) must still be attended.

(2) An act of stupidity involing significant drinking, similar to the "yoke challenge".

Neiman Marcus

Super high end luxury department store also known as "Needless Mark-up." Basically if you're not ready to pay too much for retail then don't shop here. Won't take any other credit card aside from their own store card, all other transactions must be in cash. So if you're a mobster or a drug dealer then this is your place to shop. Otherwise better hit the ATM a couple of times before you go.

Martin: "Dude check out my new Pradas!"
Josh: "Nice! Where'd you find em at?"
Martin: I got em at Neiman Marcus for $500, I coulda gotten em at the company's store for $450 but that's how I role."

Robert: "Sorry I'm late."
Tina: "it's cool, did you get held up in traffic?"
Robert: "No I had to use the other entrance of the mall because Neiman Marcus was doing their annual party for the customers who spend $25000 or more a year."

Paul Newman

Without question, one of the greatest actors ever. Known also for his icy blue eyes, good looks and his food line, Newman's Own. He has starred in a wide variety of films since the early 50s from "Somebody Up There Likes Me" to "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" to "The Hustler" to "Hud" to "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid" to "The Sting" to "Absence of Malice" to "Nobody's Fool" to "Road to Perdition." He recently retired earlier this year and he will be missed on screen.

He resides in Connecticut w/ his long-time wife, Joanne Woodward.

Newmanspeak

A dishonest rhetorical device in which one accuses one's interlocutor of having said something objectionable which they never, in fact, said. Related to Newspeak in George Orwell's 1984, it is named after British broadcaster Cathy Newman following a notorious interview in which she repeatedly used this approach against Canadian academic Jordan Peterson, usually introducing her comments with "So basically you're saying...?".

Peterson: There's multiple reasons for the pay gap. One of them is gender but that's not the only reason. If you're a social scientist worth your salt you never do a univariate analysis. You say women in aggregate are paid less than men. OK, well then, we break it down by age, we break it down by occupation, we break it down by interest, we break it down by personality ...

Newman: So basically you're saying it doesn't matter if women aren't getting to the top, because that's just a fact of life.
