NAM

An acronym that stands for Non-Asian minority, usually used to more accurately describe a person who is referred to as a member of a minority group in mainstream media or popular discourse. It is necessitated by the general success and prosperity of Asians in the United States, who do as well or better on a host of social indicators than whites do. Thus when a media figure discusses the economic or educational struggles of a minority, he is almost always referring to a NAM, or a non-Asian minority.

"The minority income gap in the US has only gotten worse since the recession!"

"You mean the NAM income gap has gotten worse. Asians are actually doing even better relative to whites than they were before the recession."

Nam Vo

A term used to describe a super-smart yet, handsome person. Usually asian. Nam's are usually popular hence their name meaning "vietnam" and everyone knows that vietnam is the dominant country. Nams' have the same life story which include babes, constant improvement in academic performances, social awkwardness, and caring acquaintances. Nams are also used to describe the most popular person in the group (usually asian), a person with a humongous cock, the 'fucking shit', something you would name your penis, etc etc.. I could go on and on how much Nams' own. OH and Nams' are also the ancient rulers of the Argonauts.

A phrase used to describe an event/ occurrence in one's life that hasn't happened in a long time. Typically used when referring to family outings or sporting events.

Joe: "Hey John, want to go golfing today?"

John: "Sure, but I haven't hit the course Since 'Nam!"

Joe: "We have to celebrate Grandma Jane's birthday today."

John: "Dude we haven't celebrated Grandma Jane's birthday since 'Nam!"

This is the Cantonese word for an ethnic Chinese born in Vietnam.

NOTE: This is NOT to be confused with Vietnamese. Yeet nam wah kews do NOT have Vietnamese BLOOD: they speak Vietnamese (most of them with Southern Chinese accents, since most of them are Southern Chinese) and may even eat and cook Viet food, but they are just Chinese born in Vietnam.

Use this term after describing something you used to do, or before you describe something that happened to you. The phrase can be said just by itself if in the right context, to mean "Oh yeah we used to do that all the time"
