Marvel Cinematic Universe

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared fictional universe that is centered on a series of superhero films, independently produced by Marvel Studios and based on characters that appear in publications by Marvel Comics. The franchise has expanded to include comic books, short films, and a television series. The shared universe, much like the original Marvel Universe in comic books, was established by crossing over common plot elements, settings, cast, and characters. Clark Gregg has appeared the most in the franchise, portraying Phil Coulson, an original character to the MCU.

The first film released in the MCU was Iron Man (2008), which began the first phase of films, culminating in Marvel's The Avengers (2012). Phase Two began with Iron Man 3 (2013), and is expected to conclude with Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Marvel is also preparing Phase Three, beginning with the release of Ant-Man (2015). The universe began to expand with the release of the first official tie-in comics in 2010, and saw further expansion with the Marvel One-Shots direct-to-video short films in 2011 and the TV series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the 2013–14 season. Marvel has multiple films and television projects in various stages of development.

The franchise as a whole ranks as the second highest-grossing film franchise of all time and has inspired other film studios with comic book character film rights to attempt to create similar shared universes.
The following film scene, from Iron Man (2008), is an example of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in action:

after end credits
Tony Stark: arriving home Evening, JARVIS!
Jarvis: voice distorted Welcome home, sir...
Stark stops as he sees a figure in his living room
Nick Fury: "I am Iron Man". You think you're the only superhero in the world? Mr. Stark, you've become part of a bigger universe. You just don't know it yet.
Tony Stark: Who the hell are you?
Nick Fury: Nick Fury. Director of SHIELD.
Tony Stark: Ah.
Nick Fury: I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative.

Marvel vs Capcom 2

The best Verses Fighting Game ever made by Capcom and the 2nd installment of the "Marvel Vs Capcom " Series. This game has 56 characters and is very popular in Fighting Game Tournaments. It is also a very strategic, deep, skillful game.

Marvel Fanboy

A person, usually a man between the ages of 18-40, who could've possibly cured cancer, world-wide famine, poverty, or written the next great American novel if they devoted half the time they spend riding Marvel's dick to something actually important.

Can be observed either

A) Relentlessly defending Marvel against ANY criticism(imagined or not)

or

B) Personally insulting and/or otherwise getting genuinely upset at people that don't think Marvel(Cinematic Universe) is THE #1 entertainment entity, in all or most ways. Will unironically accuse anyone of divergent opinion regarding Marvel of being a "DC fanboy" even if said person has never read comics. Rumored, but unconfirmed to masturbate to Disney-stocks they don't even own.

How these guys find the time to work a job, sleep, or even wash their hands is a question for the ages, considering there is literally no time they cannot be seen knob jockeying online. *See IGN comment sections*
Regular Person: So I just got back from seeing *insert latest Marvel movie here*, and it was good but...

Marvel Fanboy: In all fairness nothing in the entire universe is perfect, so you're just nitpicking.

Regular Person: No, I would've just preferred if they...

Marvel Fanboy: So you're saying you could've made a better movie?

Regular Person: What? No. I'm just giving my opinion as a viewer...

Marvel Fanboy: Funny. I didn't see you "just giving your opinion" on the Batman Vs Superman article. You're obviously a full of shit troll.

Regular Person: Well, that's because I didn't see Batman Vs Superman...

Marvel Fanboy: LOL wow great fucking logic! Found the DC fanboy! *Tells "Martha" joke for the quadrillionth time while fantasizing getting spit-roasted by Stan Lee and Walt Disney*

Marvel Fanboy

Someone who believes that Marvel has it all because they have only seen the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, and judges all of DC Comics based on the two or three of their bad films

Marvel Studios

The cinematic universe that kills us inside when we watch a new movie.
I cried when I watched Marvel Studios' Infinity War.

Marvel Cinematic Multiverse

After Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) ends, and the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse (MCM) begins. The Infinity Saga is the end of the MCU as we know it, and the future films from Marvel Studios will be set in the MCM where alternate dimensions and timelines exist.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to kick off the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse, and hopefully the X-Men can eventually join the MCM.

Marvel vs Capcom 2

The fourth installment in Capcom's "Versus" series.
a revamped version of the old-skool street-fighter style games on speed (and probably acid too).
Easy to play, difficult to master.
Although unbalanced character power-wise and looked down on due to it being a 2D fighting game (with sprite quality and animation largely unchanged throughout the series) this game offers an extreme amount of longevity to those who appreciate the game for what it is.
