She became famous for starring in the hit reality TV show Dance Moms. The Zieglers were in the show from Season 1 Episode 1 until Season 6 Episode 18. Mackenzie is also a singer, and her newest (as of June 18 2017) single was released in May 2017 and is called Monsters AKA Haters.
