Something said to a person when that person is obviously exceeding expectations. Kind of like, "Go easy, you're doing too good of a job. The others don't stand a chance."

Often applies to being well dressed, just looking sharp or just being too good at a sport.

A reference to MC Hammer's third album.

When you have on a sharp new outfit that's going to help you win over the ladies, a friend might say to you before you go out, "Hammer don't hurt 'em."

A trope in writing (often fanfiction) where a character is emotionally or physically hurt and another character helps to comfort them.

Beet is emotionally unstable. Which is to say that Beet only reads hurt/comfort fics.

Blu-ray is just a bag of hurt. It's great to watch the movies, but the licensing of the tech is so complex, we're waiting till things settle down and Blu-ray takes off in the marketplace.

Hurtball

Is someone who's always broke, tries to front like their

somebody but are nobody. They roll around in unpaid cars

or cars that are borrowed from their mother or girlfriend.

They are always leaching off other people to live and owe

everyone money. Their favorite line is "Yo bro can you

cover this for me" or "Hey babe, lend me a 20". This

particular character does not work and wears shitty cloths.

When his girlfriend tries to leave him, his argument is

"You're gonna leave me because I don't have lots of

money" and then guilts her to pay for all his shit. So he

can sit around and be a hurtball.

Hufty Puff

A description of an exceedingly well nourished individual sweating profusely, gasping for breath, nearing cardiac collapse whilst attempting to lose their first kilo after a lifetime of grazing.

Or any big fellow using the stairs, moderate exercise can bring on the state of being a "Hufty puff."

Or a big fellow that sweats heavily on relatively mild days.

Look at that hufty puff, I'll go warm up the paddles.

I couldn't find space in the gym it was full of hufty puff's.

I just had give my seat away on the bus to some huffy puff, if the bus had stopped suddenly it would have been carnage.

Hurtin Burton

A Hurtin Burton is an alcoholic beverage that was first introduced in 2011, in Halifax, Canada. The drink must be consumed at a strip club. It is a straight shot of vodka, and a stripper would lean over the shot glass and fart directly on the vodka. Once this is completed, the shot is ready to drink.

I went to the strip club last night and drank 4 Hurtin Burtons!
