It got most votes on Langenscheidt's jugendwort.de website in 2014 but the jury banned fappieren because image boards like the german pr0gramm and 4chan pushed the word.

A word used in place of describing someone as a "masturbator" or other term related to masturbation.

One might call someone a fappist if they do not wish to get caught using a common sexual slur.
