I am going out with Elizabeth on Friday, and Marta on Saturday, maybe I can just consoli-date at brunch on Sunday so I can go to Atlantic City with the boys!

Consolidation

In psychology, (memory) consolidation is the process where the unconscious mind tries to transform recently learned experiences into long-term memories, thereby 'consolidating' them. Ways of triggering consolidation include writing/recording stuff down (e.g. journal or diary), the utilization of schemata, and getting a good night's sleep.

Jim failed to consolidate his memories of what he learned in his course because he rarely took notes. He also pulled an all-nighter to study for his final tomorrow, but consolidation didn't occur because he didn't get good sleep.

censorship

Something I hope never happens to this site.

To all the UD admins out there. I know that Youtube, Facebook and all these other sites have started censoring people's content in order to gain more money and that people have complained about offensive definitions on this site. But censoring what people post will only cripple this site in the long-term and will piss a lot of people off. Part of what makes this website to great is the creative freedom authors have while writing their definitions. People love to look at the clever definitions other people come up with and this site helps them express what different words mean to them, and sometimes it will include profanity and sex. Yeah, there are people who post racist and homophobic definitions. But there's going to be inappropriate shit on the internet no matter what and censoring people's content is not going to change that. You shouldn't get rid of what makes this site so great just because of a few bad definitions. So lets keep this website censorship free and keep the community alive shall we.
