Noun: The sudden urge to go on Google and look up everything you're curious about.
Last night I was on the internet looking up everything from Aztecs to zoology. I think I've been bitten by the Google bug!

google coder

A programmer who doesn't really know how to code. Google search is their main source for finding out how to do something while they hack in a solution. They are usually from the tech boom before the bubble burst, mid to late 90's, and they were hired during a time when companies didn't really care if you could code or not.....or at least they didn't do a very good job testing people's skill or looking up their background to see if they knew what they were doing.
John: Why is this code so poorly written?

Bobby: Ah, that was Carl's work, he is a google coder!

Google Shaming

Openly mocking ignorance which could easily be remedied by a simple Google search. Typically passive aggressive and deadpan, Google shaming is often missed by the recipient.
John: Where can I find a free PDF converter?

Jane: Uhm... OK. Have you tried... like... Google?

Dave: Wow Jane. Nice Google Shaming.

(adj) Someone who inherits most or all of their knowledge from the Internet or smartphone as opposed to going to school, reading hard-copy books, or doing actual research in a library. Also referred to as Internet-smart.
Our younger generation has become google-smart... more dependent on their smartphones and less inclined to use their minds to come to a conclusion.
