existentialism

The philosophic exercise of likening oneself to God in that the direction and meaning of your life is yours alone to determine. The admission to oneself that anything and everything you know to be true may in fact be false, and that you do not possess the knowledge to determine what is and isn't. The method of continually constructing personal arguments for your decisions despite the knowledge that what you do may or may not matter.

"Do we exist solely as figments of the imagination of God?"
"Perhaps. Then is it possible that the characters of our own dreams and imagination are of a similar nature to ourselves?"

"Life is meaningless. I should skip work in the morning to drink and enjoy myself."
"No, perhaps you should be responsible. You never know when you might find out the reason why."

Existence

A very hard word to define. One must pick up the meaning of existence. And existence can only refer to people. Generally, it is better to not exist, but existing is not always a bad thing. Good people exist, and bad people do not. However, people generally like those who do not exist more. The best definition of existence is close to, but not exactly, the combination of how good a person is in any way compared to how much they try. People who try very hard and are very successful often exists, while those who really don’t care do not exist. However, that is not the only basis for existence. For more on existence, one must hear examples of who exists and who doesn’t. Every person fits into one of the following categories: defines existence, exists, barely exists, barely does not exists, does not exist, defines non-existence.
