It's a one version of hardcore punk but not so aggressive like old hardcore.It's something like new wave of hardcore in which is a more melody than in old school hardcore. It's often replaced with emo but the lyrics can prove that they are not.

many people believe that it is just simply swinging you're arms through the air and doing spinkicks just to piss people that don't dance off.
To most dancers it is a semi-choreographed group of motions to display you're gratitude towards the band that is performing.
Hardcore Dancing is Generally seen in a younger group of people, but ranges to different age groups, some being 28+.
the "moves" include but are not limited to:
-two step commonly a cross over of the feet, motioning your hands to the ground. two steps a.k.a. "the step" is done in a variety of ways, depending on the style of dancing in the location.
-spinkicks Usually at the beginning or end of a dancing routine, is a rotation followed by a karate-style kick by the back foot.
-windmill
1.spinning arms in a clock-like motion while spinning body through the mosh pit.
2. jumping side to side and swinging arms on the side you land on in a clock-like motion.
-jumping spinkicks Sometimes a windmill is used to gain momentum and jump to do a spinkick in mid-air.
-swings. there are alot of different kind of swings, some involving clawing in front of you, and some involving spinning your arms in a sort of grab-puch-repeat motion.
-picking up change often a move performed by grabbing or punching at the ground, otherwise displayed by swinging elbows back while stomping the ground with feet.
While Some Dancing is quite harmless, Others do get into what they do, which can be violent and painful.
People that enjoy moshing or circle pits usually act violently towards Hardcore Dancers.
Sometimes In Order to "open up the pit" dancers will swing rapidly, push, or slam their bodies diagnally into crowds, this is usually done in a circle like fashion, and will stay open as long as their are dancers in it.
This Form of Dance is Known As HXC DANCING, SLAMDANCING, or throwdown
hardcore Dancing is often done in groups of many members called HXC crews or just "crews".
some are violent and incorporate lifestyles such as straightedge into their grouping.
others are just in the crews so that they have protection from moshers that may not understand/like what they are doing.
One that is Dancing will often apoligize to someone that is hit while in the pit, and if one falls, others help him up.

Its concidered structured because actual "dance moves" are used at certain parts of songs that have a certain beat or rhythm. Its not just "flailing" of the arms; is structured movements performed to correspond with particular parts in songs. Such as the 2-step which is done to fast or slow rhythmic alternations between the snare and base drum. Hardcore dancers move to the music, needing a knowlege of music, while push moshers just move aimlessly without structure. The usual "push mosher" fag is the asshole who decides theyre just going to push random people with no rhythm and with no disregard to if someone is in the pit, just someone observing the pit, if theyre a female. Thought hardcore dancing is seen as "wreckless" or "dangerous" it is deeply structured on respect. If someone falls we "hardcore dancer" help them up. If someone is in a "push mosh" pit they wouldnt get helped or noticed. They would just be trampled on because nobody is paying attention to what anybody is doing. Basically harcore dancing is a structured style of movement in which actual dance moves are performed to correspond with certain rhythms or tempos in songs.

Get the hardcore dancing mug.Hardcore movie fans as opposed to regular movie fans are extreme fans who watch a specific movie numerous times and love to discuss/debate the specifics of the storyline, characters etc. They are also less willing to accept changes/remakes/sequels to a particular movie unless they are of a similar high quality, since it is the high quality of the original/originals that made them a hardcore fan in the first place.
hardcore movie fan - "My friend is a hardcore Star-wars fan. He is constantly discussing the plot details and has lost count of the number of times he's seen the original trilogy. He anxiously awaited the prequels, but was dissapointed at how they turned out.

Though "true" metal fans think hardcore dancing sucks, they are, in fact, washed-up pansies who can think of nothing better to do with their time and energy than make fun of the way kids dance.
They are also afraid to actually point out (except on the internet) that they dislike hardcore dancing because they are outnumbered 10 to 1 at shows and probably would not be able to touch a hardcore kid in a fight because hardcore dancers are all, in fact, magical ninjas.
