Fridance

A celebratory dance performed (usually at work) on Fridays to commemorate the end of the grueling work week. The dance is performed using no particular pattern or style, but often incorporates variations of "The Robot" while vocally producing Rock or Heavy Metal type sounds.

My co-worker and I did the Fridance in our office several times today.

Black Friday

The name for the day after Thanksgiving. It is named this way because it is supposed to be the day where companies move from deficits to profits for the year, i.e. in a checkbook, going from the red to the black.

Store Executive: We'll have a ton of Black Friday sales to help our company make up for lackluster sales these past 11 months.

the act of going shopping as early as possible to get early bird specials on the most sale filled day of the year with the most people fighting over sales they could find cheaper online if they looked for them but are too hyped up about it to care

girl 1: hey what'd you do yesterday?
girl 2: i was black fridaying, i found an ipod on sale for $250
girl 1: oh i got the same one online for $150 sucks for you i got to sleep

Tidy Friday

A term was originally used in the Park Hill South High School cafeteria meaning that the students are to be clean while eating and throw away all of their trash when they are finished so it makes the janitors' jobs easier. It is commonly yelled out with a response shout of "Tidy Friday" by the audience.

Ms. Sharon- "Tidy Friday"
Students- "Tidy Friday"
