Wearing one's underwear on the outside of one's pants (or, in the UK, trousers), named for the eponymous superhero's outfit that appears to feature red briefs worn on top of blue leggings.

Is often considered a cop-out approach to theme parties and events that require one to dress in one's underwear.

Superman

Superman was about the most unoriginal superhero. Every kid wants to fly, but its not human to be able to do it without a motor and propellers or rotors. Superman also wears a cape which is not really interesting. As a guy with raw strength, the Hulk is the more interesting superhero, since he is human and is therefore more like a human, and not alien. Even Batman and Robin are more interesting stories than Superman. What kind of kid got interested in Superman, if they had any interest in comic books at all.

Nobody you know is like Superman or Clark Kent, since Superman is alien.
