drama-parasite - this friend is always going through a crisis and you can't enjoy yourself with them because you're too busy picking up the pieces, of whatever is their current problem. And they always have one/hundred.
Do not mistake for emotional vampire.

A drama pest is a human that (often whilst intoxicated) becomes a cheeky pest and incites drama.
This personality trait may be exacerbated by an overindulgence in various substances; the consumption of five bottles of champagne for example.
Drama pests are often caught up in arguments with friends, lovers and strangers or dangerous situations that may cause unnecessary harm, stress and/or anxiety for themselves and others.

Human: "So I visited my ex last night, ended up drinking a lot of wine and got into his bed."
Friend: "Didn't you already tell him you weren't interested?"
Human: "Yes, but..."
Friend (annoyed): "You're such a drama pest! Pull yourself together and some decorum!"

Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham: The trouble is Mary's back from London today as well. She gets in at five o'clock.
Isobel Crawley, Baroness Merton: Matthew's driving down in Lavinia's car. They won't meet on the train.
Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham: That's a relief. I hate Greek drama. You know,
when everything happens off stage.

Aggressive & Dramatic falsehoods such as rumors about another individual for nothing more than the need to make oneself feel better about their own inequities.

When somebody creates a Bulletin on MySpace (or an equivalent action on any other social networking site) that is aimed at only on person for the express reason of causing real life drama.
The bulletin is readable by all of the poster's friends and is vague enough to show anger, but doesn't discuss the problem at length, ensuring the poster's friends contact her to find out what's going on, ensuring they are sucked into the conflict.

Tina's bulletin read "OMG, you're such a hater. If you don't stop talking shit, I will seriously fuck your shit up!" I'm not worried about it though. She makes at least 10 Drama Bulletins a week.

wow, when "Mouth Breathing CHUD Zone" kept replying to the neighbourhood watch group on FB about the unlikely scenario that aliens were responsible for abducting local cats, drawing in like-minded idiots, i knew they were all thirsty for some drama humping to spice up their empty existence.
