This phenomena happens due to the long studio sessions and listening to the project over and over, which tricks your mind thinking that it sounds normal. These usually have the hugest impacts on Mixing and on Compositions. The best way to avoid this is to step away for 30 minutes every 2-4 hours to let your ears readjust.
