Goinker

A pliable nub, finger-like protuberance, or other bump meant for grabbing, pinching, or protecting a surface or object from another. The rubbery spikes on a child’s ball are goinkers. A doorstop on a wall to keep the door handle from hitting the wall may be a goinker. Rubber feet on the bottom of an appliance or cabinet, etc.
The baby’s koosh ball is covered in little goinkers. I got the battery compartment open by pinching that goinker there.
