Nighthawks at the Diner

This 1975 live studio album was Tom Waits' third release. It begins with a bit of sax, percussion and an intro by Waits. He's a bit of a stage comedian, telling jokes between songs, and giving little introductions before them. The music is beautiful, as with all of Waits' live work. One of the best is Better Off Without A Wife, all about a stag and his love of being alone. Playing after that is Nighthawk Postcards, which is another great story, this time of a journey through a town past dark.

Vern Turkey Dinner

When you proceed to have sex with a store-bought turkey multiple times before Thanksgiving, until the Turkey is seemingly filled with ejaculate. Can be done with multiple people as an activity for the holiday, and is done best if the turkey is bought about a week before the holiday, giving you plenty of time to "stuff" it with your "filling". A somewhat swollen appearance is often desired, similar to that of a water balloon.

Dad : This turkey is especially juicy this year, what's your secret?
Me : Oh, just a Vern Turkey Dinner. The secret is in the sauce.
Dad : I might have to help out with it next year.

Tik Tok Dinner

When you are out eating dinner with a group of friends and one person says "OMG I have to show you guys this funny Tik Tok!"

The Tik Tok is never funny so no one laughs.

This makes the friend then say "Hold on I have a better one!"

This isn't funny either.

This creates an annoying loop where the dinner is then taken over by shitty Tik Toks.

"Oh, Jesus Christ. Erin has turned this gathering into a Tik Tok Dinner."
