To be used ONLY when genuinely laughing out loud at something.
The use of lol as been bastardised to use when something just makes us smirk a little or when a comment is slightly amusing, but not when we actually 'laugh out loud'. Hence lolaa (laugh out loud actually) was born.
The reasoning behind the secon 'a' is unknown. Probably just a typo on the creator's part.
