Get the Locally Salmonmug. People who live in your city and/or country that hold traditional values and close minded opinions. Mostly right wing leaning and religious. The word started seeing use on Twitter after numerous Tunisians flooded the platform to support Palestine.

Am I a #local, yet? In my #local it is "You're only a #local if you've been here 40 years, and even then, only if we say you are. So #STFU". Of course I don't; they listen & they might reply now & again; they put up with me; but I don't have the years in me to become a true #local.

Get the localmug. Phrase used by British football fans against people who do not live close to the vicinity of the location of the team that they support. Normally used as a way to gatekeep club support by implying fans who live locally are better supporters than foreign fans.
