per state

"Per state" is scottish slang, refering to something being a mess, usually used around glasgow by neds or chavs, especially in the east end. Can be used to describe a house or person. Although spelt 'per', the word is pronounced "pure".

Chontelle: "Aw naw, check maself, im a per state..."
Stu: "haw haw, aye man, his gaff is a per state after Jambo went oaf his nut and made a ransack of his maws bedroom."
