A phrase used to describe a person who is verified on Instagram or Twitter, used to reference their superiority in the social media hierarchy.

Person 1: "How's it going with that guy you are seeing?"
Person 2: "It's okay, but I am not sure if I really like him or the fact that he is a Blue Tick."
Person 1: "Yeh that's true, but I guess it's great for your social media presence though."
