Power text

Verb.

To repeatedly text another person in an effort to get their attention immediately. Often about something minor or unimportant to everyone but the person power texting. Similar to power calling.

Rick @ 1:30 p.m. - "Hey man what's up"
Rick @ 1:32 p.m. - "Dude what's up"
Rick @ 1:34 p.m. - "Bro what are you doin?"
Rick @ 1:35 p.m. - "You busy?"
Rick @ 1:35 p.m. - "Call me when you can"
James @ 1:47 p.m - "Damn dude I was in a meeting what's going on?"
Rick @ 1:50 p.m. - "I was tryin to see if you wanted to play frisbee"
James @ 1: 52 p.m. - "Dude don't power text me any more"

Big Red Text

Big Red Text is what some movies use for their title in a movie trailer to attract an audience. Movies with "Big Red Text" are usually in the comedy genre and don't get great reviews.

Movies like "Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Meet Dave, Miss March" and "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" all have Big Red Text in their title, are in the comedy genre, and don't have great reviews.

2. Or they just want to go jack off.

The " who is this" text is the text sent to an estranged telephone number and or to an unsaved number to someone you used to speak with but have no intention of allowing them to think they are a permanent party in your life.

Keep In Text

A replacement for the traditional, "Keep in touch" routine when leaving a conversation. Unlike Keep in touch, when saying keep in text, you actually try to remain close to the person via text messages rather than a phone call.

"Ah it was nice meeting you, Keep in text!"

Love at first Text

With today's technology, say one of your friends gives you a girls number and you start texting her. You end up talking to her all day and you feel like you actually love her because of who you think you know. This kind of love may or in most cases will not work out.

Guy: Holy crap dude this girl is like so freaking amazing i feel like i'm in love!
Friend (M/F): Dude that's awesome where did you meet her?
Guy:uhhhhhh i never actually "met" her but we like texted all day today!!
Friend:......WOW!! So instead of love at first sight it was love at first text?

1. An act that should never be done while in a car, during class, or in any other situation in which one should be paying attention.
2. An act that numerous teenagers often do while in a car, during class, or in any other situation in which they should be paying attention.

Idiotic teenage driver: *whips out cell phone and starts text messaging*
Intelligent teenager: Whoa! What the hell are you doing?! You're going to get us killed!
Idiotic teenage driver: Huh? Did you say something? *swerves*
