Lance Hardwood

Mentioned in the television series How I Met Your Mother by Ted. Lance Hardwood is an everyday name that parents may choose to abandon their baby to an orphanage and leave a note saying that their name is Lance Hardwood, therefore ruining said child's life for ever and ever. This has been done time and time again with other names such as; Mike Clitoris, Hugh Jass, Mike Hock, Yurik Hunt. Spelling may vary. "On an completely unrelated note, all names mentioned above are often used by pornstar."

"Hey man did you see Lance Hardwood last night?"
"The pornstar???"
"Naw man, Lance Hardwood the reported."

Believe it or not, hardocre evolved from a spelling mistake. What is hardocre? Well, we're not really sure, but one thing is for sure... We'll decide what is and isn't hardocre, not you!

hardcore hands

hardcore hands (pl. noun) -- a term describing two hands formed into the rock on hand symbol. Usually displayed in response to music, or a situation that is just brutal. The symbol is formed on each hand, sticking the index and pinky fingers into the air, while balling the ring, middle, and thumb fingers into what resembles a small fist in the middle of the hand. Can also be used in the singular sense, as simply "hardcore hand".

After a session of rocking out, Dylan and Vinny threw up hardcore hands as a symbol of their metal dominance.

post hardcore

A respectable genre, that combines the heavy musical structure of hardcore with more melodic vocals. Post Hardcore generally contains the same guitar structure as hardcore, for example; the breakdown. This Genre is in no way another way of classifying 'emo'. And doing so would illustrate ones ignorance in relation to this branch of alternative music. Although post hardcore often contains, emotional lyrics.
