Warcraft Promise

n. A pinky promise done virtually, when you can't link your pinky to the other person. This can be performed over the phone, through a webcam, or even typed. Usually for a couple minutes after the Warcraft Promise both people need to tell the truth.

Person 1: "Repeat after me."

Person 2: "Okay."

Person 1: "Warcraft Promise."

Person 2: "Warcraft Promise."

Person 1: "To the plippity plappity."

Person 2: "To the plippity plappity."

Person 1: "To the flippity flappity."

Person 2: "To the flippity flappity."

Person 1: "To the Republic of {add name here}."

Person 2: "To the Republic of {add name here}."

Person 1 & 2: "May her ugliness be greater than the nontruth."

A piecrust promise is a promise you make, but you never fulfill it. The piecrust part is like saying you just have the crust of a pie, not the yummy filling. This could be called an empty promise.

Trump Promise

When a person promises to do something so grandiose, that it is quite clearly obvious that they will not be able to follow through with said promise.

A grandiose promise that won't be fulfilled and is made in an effort to show off.

*Maxamillion is running for class president of New Voices Elementary and is currently speaking at his school's gymnasium debate against his rival Shillary*

Maxamillion : "If you vote for me as your class president, I will build a great playground-- and nobody builds playgrounds better than me, believe me --and I'll build it very inexpensively. I will build a great, great playground , and I will make the New Voices Elementary pay for that playground! Mark my words."

Random Student: "I've never seen you build a playground! How can you build a playground? You're only 7 years old! That sounds like a Trump Promise if I've ever heard one. You just want use to vote for you!"

*Other students yell out "Yeah!"*
