A synonym for awesome. I actually coined this phrase in 1968 during a hallucination where i thought i saw a cat wearing pajamas. It was really just a dead bush.

When she took off her pajamas i thought she was the cats pajamas.

mama pajama

A term used to express suprise. Pajama is pronounced with short a's, so it rhymes with mama. Saying 'mama pajama' with a long a in pajama means 'I'm gay', sarcastically.
