Conversation Déjà vu

When you're talking to someone about a topic you've already covered (but don't remember covering) and you find yourself being able to complete each other's thoughts.

friend: You would not believe what happened to me!
guy: What?
Friend: So I was running this morning when all of a sudden the craziest thing happened!
guy: Did you get attacked by a dog??
friend: YEAH! Whoa, did we already talk about this?

guy: Oh yeah we did, just had a moment of conversation déjà vu

Sphyjà vu

A feeling of pleasant surprise and slight delight when viewing funny pictures or videos of sphynx cats mixed with a feeling of confidence that this is how sphynxes should behave.

I looked at this picture of sphynx cat and immediately felt a sense of sphyjà vu.

Foojà Vu

Foojà vu is something we all experience however, we don't normally have a simple word to describe the sensation. Frequently, the experience would normally occur not long after one has eaten or consumed a drink. This isn't to say that this couldn't happen later on in the day. Foojà vu is when a person would burp and taste something they have previous consumed.

Friend 1: "*Burp* Oh no..."
Friend 2: "Haha that doesn't sound good, have you got some foojà vu going on?"
Friend 1: "Yep, taste like the dodgy beer we had at the pub. Plus some the bubbles went up my noise?!".

Friend 1: "*Burp* Oh, that was a big one. Sorry about that... oh, wait.... got some foojà vu going on".
Friend 2: "Oh really, what have you got?"
Friend 1: "Curry, haha".

The feeling that you have an unfinished hot beverage getting cold somewhere, despite the fact that you have already finished it.

I have just found my empty cup, I thought I hadn't finished it, I had tea ja vu.

nostaljà vu

A feeling of nostalgia for something you’d never experienced until recently, such as an arcade game that was popular before you were born.

Person 1: The Littleroot Town music from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire makes me feel so nostalgic.
Person 2: You played those games as a kid?
Person 1: No, I didn’t. I haven’t even played the remakes. It’s like...nostaljà vu.
