when one person asks another person to do something and only one person knows that it's a date.

Having previously dated someone, and that someone claiming you did in fact not date. The time that you dated said person is known as "Anti-dating".

Boy: "Don't you remember our relationship?"
Girl: "We didn't date. You may think so, and everyone else may think so, but we didn't."

An event where someone sets up 2 people who don't know each other on a date. In most cases, one of the people is horrendously ugly and the other will be sure to kill the "matchmaker" afterwards.

My shitty friend set me up on a blind date, and I vomited for hours afterwards.

Generally used sarcastically to exaggerate the appeal of a date. The date may or may not be real, and although the date might actually be "hot", as in exciting, it's just as likely to not exist at all or be boring.
