traumaporn

When a character, typically an OC, has an extreme amount of traumatic or life-changing events in their life that ultimately do not end up affecting the character's attitude or outlook on life and is simply trauma to be trauma for shock value.

"Jenny's OC Markus's backstory is basically just traumaporn. His dog died, his mom died, he got ran over, and he blew up, and he STILL thinks that the world is all sunshine and rainbows as if it never happened!

A friend that is extremely anxious, deeply depressed, or suicidal and requires regular reassurance, care, or comfort to maintain their will to live.
