its a word. often used as a descriptive term for blacks who feel entitled to other peoples money and hard work, it has also come to apply to all people who freeload on society and can be interchanged with the word "mooch". Attempts to censure it out of existance have led to its new wide-spread popularity and thanks to Rev. Al Sharpton, the Southern Poverty Law center, the NAACP and others, it has come to refer to blacks specifically again.

This is typical in today's culture, the allowable definition of any slang word is a matter of subjectiveness and should not be censored. SEE; "nigger", many ignorant/hateful definitions are in use, merely because they were edited by a human being with a different perception of "improper".
