Fraternity

A secret all-male organization that is a hypocrite to their chapter and Greek ideology and principles. They are made up of people who follow the crowd to fit in, athletes, outgoing socialites, drunks, and wealthy brats. While some treat outsiders with respect, some want nothing to do with them. Their dues are high and many get in trouble. Many chapters are hazing initiates although some do not. Their public events are made to make outsiders and the school seem they are all good people but most of them are either misguided and follow the crowd or are arrogant pricks who want to feel strong or take out anger. Real fraternity events are secret and dangerous. Please avoid them completely including parties where they charge a fortune and kick you out even though they rent off-campus houses or live in designated residential housing.

Person A: Did you talk to the fraternities today?

Person B: Those fraternity brothers are hypocrites to values and do what they want and keep it a secret.

flatterbash

To flatter a person with an honorable truth to such an extreme that it causes those hearing to object to the honorable truth. The flatterbasher is usually jealous over some trait , often inner beauty or a possession of the victim that they know appeals to others and they want the focus on themselves, so they take an honorable truth about the victim and stretch it so far out of proportion in such a way that it makes the victim embarrassed and others see the truth as false and no longer see it as their honorable quality. Flatterbashers do this infront of others like group texting, social media, gatherings, work parties or meeting, even among families! Compliments are healthy commendation. Flattery is for positioning for gain. Flatterbashing goes above typical flattery. It causes those hearing to think or say the opposite about the person. If the victim declines or denies the flattery the flatterbasher will persist or escalate their abusive tactic. This way the victim looks bad if they accept AND if they reject the so called compliments.
Men, women, school bullies, coworkers, anyone can Flatterbash out of jealousy or to level themselves over the threat or insecurity they feel or imagine their target/victim emminates or holds over them. It can be used by ANYONE. It is often employed by narcissists. and those who are the leaders of clicks to keep their "followers".

Female Victim: "We were group texting and all of a sudden she started to flatterbash me with 'Your eyes are so beautiful! OMG! I can't hear what you're saying because I can't stop focusing on your eyes! They are gorgeous! I think about them when I'm eating...!' I was so embarrassed!"
Those Hearing: "She's not THAT beautiful." "So and So is prettier than she is." "She's only pretty with makeup on." "She's not 'ALL THAT'."

Male Flatterbasher: "Dude, your wheels are awesome! Where did you get that paint?! Your car takes the stripes off the street! I can't eat, Dude, I'm heartsick! Nothin' like it, Dude!"
Victim: "It's decent. Get's me there. You trying to flatterbash me?"
