Mate-mates

A form of sexual intercourse that is more meaningful, often resulting in efforts towards building a family/breeding purposes. The term was invented by Phoebe Fraser, a S/A Survivor who uses the term to differentiate between consensual meaningful sex and just normal, blatant casuals. Often a synonym for "making love"

"I heard you had sex with Cian last night-"

"Oh, you mean mate-mates? He means the world to me, so I wouldn't just label it a normal, dirty term-"
