STD was a show made in 1986 about a group of military forces the STD. Their mission was to fend off swarms of enemies called the “Verhga”. Cybernetic monsters controlled by Ron Ross, an evil mastermind.
The main characters were Brian Richard, Megan Carter, Frank Write, and Annie Lowenstein.
The show ran all the way until 1992, and even got a live action remake in 2001, though it bombed. But a remake is set to release in 2022.
